BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT US
We provide free, impartial & confidential advice to all asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in Wolverhampton and the rest of the Black Country (Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Smethwick, Oldbury, Stourbridge, Bilston and Wednesbury). Our broad approach covers many issues related to reception, integration and voluntary return.
We will help anyone, regardless of country of origin, ethnicity, legal status, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.
Our staff and volunteers speak a variety of languages, which cover the largest majority of the asylum seeker, refugee and new migrant communities residing in Wolverhampton.
We often rely on volunteers to deliver our services. If you are interested please telephone our office for an informal discussion.
We welcome comments on how to improve our service from clients or agencies we work with.
RMC is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The Board of Trustees and staff are extremely grateful for the generosity of all of our funders which helps us to continue this vital service.
Our funding base is varied and has expanded over the last nine years since the organisation started in late 1999. To date we have had support from many reputable charitable trusts, Lottery funding, as well as statutory funding from central and local government.
